The Student Money Fair will take place in the James France Exhibition Space on Monday 4 March from 11am-2pm. The fair is focused on saving money on your food shopping as well as linking to the National Student Money Week theme ‘Less Risk, More Reward’.
What to expect from the fair
- Money-saving stalls: Explore interactive stalls filled with practical advice on saving money and mastering the art of budgeting your daily expenses.
- Free goody bag: Speak to six of the stalls and you’ll receive an exclusive goody bag packed with prizes.
- Expert advice: Connect with financial experts, business owners, and ºÚÁÏÍø alumni and gain insights into how to maximise your money without compromising on the essentials.
- Innovative solutions: Explore innovative ways to save money and sustainable living tips.
- Prizes and giveaways: Test your budgeting knowledge with fun games and stand a chance of winning exciting prizes.
There is no need to book, just turn up.
The Super Savings Treasure Hunt
During Student Money Week, you can also take part in a treasure hunt around campus. The treasure hunt clues will be based on key information linked to financial literacy and topics including the cost of living, student loans, and bursaries.
You can collect a copy of the treasure hunt booklet from either Careers Hub East (SMB006, Stewart Mason) or Careers Hub West (West Park Teaching Hub).
Once you have solved the clues, you can scan the QR code in the booklet to submit your answers and enter the prize draw to win from a variety of prizes including:
- An air fryer worth £130
- A Tefal frying pan
- A kitchen utensil kit
Please note that all answers must be submitted by Wednesday 13 March.
