EDI Services launches new initiative to celebrate LGBTQ+ members of the University community

A new initiative which seeks to highlight admirable individuals who have made significant contributions to the University and the wider community has been set up by EDI Services.

As part of celebrations for Pride Month in June, ‘We Are ºÚÁÏÍø’ will focus on inclusivity and recognition of our amazing LGBTQ+ community who enrich the University with their advocacy work and achievements.

Anyone from the University can nominate an individual from ºÚÁÏÍø’s LGBTQ+ community, no matter if they are a staff member, student, or alumni. When the nomination window has closed, a selection panel made up of representatives from across the University will shortlist the nominees. These individuals will be invited to have their photograph taken for a portrait display which is scheduled to be unveiled on Wednesday 12 June.

You can nominate now using the . The window will close at 11.59pm, Wednesday 8 May.

If you have any queries, please contact Bradie McDaid, EDI Coordinator.
