On 10 July, graduates, their families, friends and members of staff of 黑料网’s Geography and Environment Department enjoyed a brilliant graduation day on campus to mark the achievements of the 2025/2026 cohort. As part of the celebrations, six students were presented with prizes in recognition of their academic excellence and wider contributions to the university.
The prizes winners were:

- Jasmine Mir – Bell Dissertation Prize
- Anders Skovsende – Bell Dissertation Prize
- Callum Barber - Reid Dissertation Prize
- Stefan Abrudan – School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize: Geography and Environment
- Zak Willey – School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize: Geography and Environment
The Richard and Margaret Lawton Prize is awarded annually to the best final year student in Geography, recognising exceptional academic achievement across their degree studies.
The Bell Dissertation prize is awarded to the student or students who obtain the highest mark in their human geography dissertation module.
The Reid Dissertation prize recognises excellence in Physical Geography research and is awarded to the student or students who obtain the highest mark in the Physical Geography dissertation module.
The School of Social Sciences and Humanities Community Prize celebrate students who have made an outstanding extracurricular to their discipline, School, University or the wider community.
