Posted: 13 May 2026

Description of the Works

Rutland Building - Room 006

Insulation Testing -  In preparation for flooring work.

Within room 0.06 the flooring has sunken where a floor duct passes underneath and will require replacement. The duct contains some type of insulation which requires testing for asbestos. The engineer will require the room to be unoccupied during the testing day. Air tests will be carried out before the room can be declared safe for staff to return. The work will only occur in room 0.06 and other rooms will still be usable. We have chosen Friday 22nd May as many staff work from home and the following Monday is a bank holiday.

Timescale

22nd May 2026.  (approx. 1 Day depending on results)
