ºÚÁÏÍø Lightning produced a dominant second-half display to defeat Birmingham Panthers 76–60 and return to winning ways

After a fast-paced opening half saw Panthers take a narrow 33–31 lead into the break, Lightning responded emphatically after half-time. The league leaders raised the intensity across the court, piling on 45 second-half points to turn the contest around and secure another impressive victory.

Experience Kissimmee Player of the Match Ella Clark led the charge in attack, finishing with 14 goals alongside three Amex Super Shots in an energetic and influential display. Berri Neil also made the most of her opportunities on court, contributing nine goals as Lightning’s attacking combinations found rhythm in the second half.

Panthers made Lightning work throughout the opening stages, with Charli Fidler particularly impressive in defence. The defender recorded six gains and five rebounds while helping disrupt Lightning’s attacking flow during a tightly contested first half.

Despite the challenge posed by an energetic Panthers side, Lightning’s quality and composure ultimately proved decisive. Stronger defensive pressure and sharper ball movement after the interval allowed the visitors to take control and pull clear in the closing stages.

While Panthers delivered one of their most confident performances of the season, Lightning showed their resilience once again to secure another important win at the top of the table.
