The club will compete across both the FA Women's National League (FAWNL) Premier Division North and the FAWNL Development League South, with our newly formed U21s side providing an exciting pathway for emerging talent.
Gabriella Spillman
Striker Gabriella Spillman joins Lightning following spells with Crystal Palace between 2024 and 2026 and Luton Town Ladies during the 2024/25 season. Gabriella arrives with valuable experience and will strengthen the club's attacking options.
Stevie Kennedy
Stevie Kennedy joins Lightning after gaining experience across the FAWNL Southern divisions with QPR Women during the 2024/25 season and Moneyfields FC, where she spent time on dual registration from Portsmouth Women FC.
Chloe Kind
Chloe Kind returns to England after spending the 2025/26 season in Australia with Marine Academy. Prior to her move overseas, Chloe represented Bridgewater United, Marine Academy Plymouth and ISFA Schools, bringing a wealth of experience and versatility to the squad.
Bea Kingerley
Goalkeeper Bea Kingerley joins the Lightning setup following a spell with Aston Villa's Professional Game Academy. Bea will provide support to the first-team squad while also playing a key role within the club's newly formed Under-21s side.
Mary Brittan
Mary Brittan signs for Lightning after competing in the FAWNL Southern Premier Division with Cheltenham Town. She also gained additional first-team experience during a loan spell with Kidderminster Harriers.
Issy Caunt
Welsh defender Issy Caunt joins the club from Gwalia. A former FAW Girls' Academy player, Issy also represented Barry Women during the second half of the 2025/26 season.
Lucy Chads
Lucy Chads arrives from Southampton, where she spent the past two seasons. During the second half of the 2025/26 campaign, she also gained experience with Moneyfields FC.
Lilia Saddington
Lilia Saddington joins Lightning after progressing through Leicester City's Professional Game Academy at Under-16 level before spending the majority of the 2025/26 season with Derby County Under-21s.
Hattie Sherlock
Defender Hattie Sherlock signs for Lightning after previously representing Chelsea Under-21s and spending a brief period playing college football in the United States. Prior to her move overseas, Hattie also featured for AFC Wimbledon Women.
