The , organised by The Polimi Design System (the School of Design, the Department of Design, and POLI.Design) took place in Fabbrica del Vapore, from 16-21 April, and featured the work of students from 50 international design schools worldwide.

- Jules Goreing, undergraduate Graphic Design student - Project Afghanistan 2001-2021
This book showcases the loss of life experienced by all parties involved and brings to light the often unspoken, deeply traumatic consequences of war.
- Alice Williams, undergraduate Graphic Design student - Project Rise
Rise is a co-op puzzle game where each player works on a different centre of gravity and uses non-verbal methods of communication to work together.
- Tianhao Zhao, master’s Graphic Design and Visualisation student - Receipts of Neglect: The Expandable Generation
Receipts of Neglect: The Expandable Generation is a project that explores the socio-political dynamics surrounding the treatment of the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Sara C. Klohn Reader, Lecturer and Programme Leader in Graphic Design commented: “As a School, we are very proud to have sent the students’ work to represent our programmes at such a prestigious event.
“Their projects represent our wider student cohort, and exemplify graphic designers’ responsibility within society, engaging with relevant topics and translating them into innovative and conscious outputs, which are also beautifully presented.”
