A great new student accommodation addition The central part of the University campus will start to look very different within the next few weeks, as the hoardings are erected around the site for the brand-new student accommodation development. These proposals, outlined in a current Government consultation open until 12 February 2026, include significant changes to the requirements for obtaining Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) and the broader pathway to settlement. We previously notified colleagues that this necessitated road and car park closures, and that two temporary car parks had been created to largely mitigate the loss of spaces.
